Caribbean Racing Circuit
The fun and feisty Mango Bowl is a favourite amongst local sailors, and offers a great opportunity to get warmed up for the main Caribbean race season. With a smaller overall fleet size and shorter race days, this is a perfect event for newer racers to try out a big boat regatta or for seasoned veterans to have a relaxing racing holiday!
In 2026 we are going for a hat trick, defending our 2 x win of the coveted Mango Bowl!
Priority booking is given to our Steadfast Sailors (i.e. returning crew!). We will open for public booking on June 30, 2026 when a booking link will be added here. Until then, feel free to contact our office with questions or to register your interest.

Itinerary

Saturday, November 28: Race Day 1

Mango Bowl Regatta is a reasonably relaxed event in our ‘big boat’ class, but gets pretty aggressive in the J24 and Surprise 26 class- making for some excellent spectator sport each day! Our class is typically less than 10 boats with quite a wide rating split, in which we are usually one of the faster boats over the water. Getting to sail our own race, gives us the space and time to do more coaching and help all our crew get the most out of the experience.
This is an ideal opportunity for less experienced racers to join us for some fun in the sun, developing racing skills in a low pressure environment. For more experienced racers, it is a great event to get a real taste of Caribbean racing without the high intensity of some of the bigger events.
As with all Sea to Sky racing, we will be as competitive as we can be together as a team, but safety will of course always come first by a long shot, followed by providing a positive learning environment where everyone can develop their skills and enjoy the experience. Expect to be pushed to achieve your best, to expand your skill set and truly challenge yourself, with ongoing support from your skipper and first mate.
Typical Conditions
Conditions in Rodney Bay are fantastic with flat water, good breeze, and interesting shifts to keep us on our tactical toes. Did we mention glorious warm sunshine- in November?!
Location & Logistics
We'll be based out of Rodney Bay marina at the north end of St.Lucia, the landing spot for hundreds of boats crossing the Atlantic each year… including Panacea X when we brought her across in 2022! Crew need their own accommodation on shore, and will join the boat at the dock each morning.
Questions?
Read more about Panacea X and check our full Caribbean FAQs for more information. If you can’t find what you need there- contact us!
