Caribbean Racing Circuit

The newest high performance event in the Caribbean race calendar is Antigua Racing Cup, entering its second year. Offering four intense days of highly competitive racing, the Cup is a thrilling test of sailing skill and teamwork in a beautiful setting. In between heart-pounding tacking duels and rocketship-esque spinnaker runs, crews can enjoy the hospitality of historic English Harbour where the regatta celebrates each day’s achievements with nightly prize giving parties.

Priority booking is given to our Steadfast Sailors (i.e. returning crew!). We will open for public booking on June 30, 2026 when a booking link will be added here. Until then, feel free to contact our office with questions or to register your interest.

Sea to Sky is really proud to support the Youth 2 Keelboat program, organized by the Antigua Sailing Association to encourage Antiguan youth to continue on from their dinghy sailing experience and enter the world of yacht racing. In the last four years of regattas in Antigua, we’ve welcomed local youth sailors on board as integral members of our team and we look forward to doing so again in 2027.

Pre-Requisites

  • Prior substantial sailing and racing experience is required.

  • Reasonable level of physical strength and fitness.

  • For those 19 years and older at time of booking.

If you’re one of our Steadfast Sailors (returning crew), remember to book through our office to receive your discount!

Antigua Racing Cup is an intense and highly competitive regatta, with classes defined by tight rating splits and well-prepared boats. We will be building a team of experienced racers for this one, so we can toe the line and come out on top of our competition! It’s a great event to get a real taste of Caribbean racing in the iconic setting of English Harbour, complete with true Antiguan hospitality.

As with all Sea to Sky racing, we will be as competitive as we can be together as a team, but safety will of course always come first by a long shot, followed by providing a positive environment where everyone can enjoy the experience. Expect to be pushed to achieve your best, to expand your skill set and truly challenge yourself, with ongoing support from your skipper and first mate.

Typical Conditions

Conditions on the south coast of Antigua always make for challenging, great sailing. The island features a rocky, cliff-strewn shoreline, providing plenty of wind shifts and lots of tactical considerations with the currents and waves to contend with. Did we mention glorious warm sunshine- in March?!

Panacea X will be docked in Falmouth (at Antigua Yacht Club) OR in English Harbour at Nelson’s Dockyard, to be determined a bit later in 2026. Crew need their own accommodation on shore, and most of the options are located easy walking distance from both locations.
