Round The County (RTC) is the penultimate big event on the racing schedule each year in the Pacific Northwest. This major event attracts boats from all over BC and Washington, bringing together a competitive fleet to race around the San Juan Islands in Washington State. Big wind, strong tides, ensnaring kelp beds, beautiful scenery and a taste of longer distance sailing are all on offer in this fantastic and challenging event.

2018 Preliminary Schedule
|Friday, November 9||
Crew will meet our flagship Paragon in Anacortes in the evening on Friday. We'll enjoy a casual dinner out at the pub and hit the sack early to make it to the pre-dawn start line. Alternatively, crew do have the option to join Paragon in Vancouver for the 2 day delivery trip down- contact us for details.
|Saturday, November 10||RTC Day 1|
We head off the dock very early in the morning in order to make it out to Lydia Shoal in Rosario Strait in time for the 8:45am start time. A full day of racing takes us just over 34 nautical miles anti-clockwise around the County, finishing in historic Roche Harbour on San Juan Island for some well-deserved rest.
|Sunday, November 11||RTC Day 2|
Starting just out of Roche Harbour we continue our circuit of the County, south through Haro Strait and around into Rosario Strait once again for another 30+ nautical miles of competitive racing. After racing we'll head back to Anacortes where crew can disperse for home or stick around for the 2 day delivery trip back to Vancouver.

What to Bring & What to Expect?
Please check the required items listed for live aboard sailing on our FAQ page here. This is a cold weather event, so good layering and proper sailing wet weather gear is essential.
While we aim to sail our very best on the race course, we offer a fun and supportive learning environment. No enraged skipper shouting at the crew. No grim silence as the crew plots a mutiny. No fits of depression if we don't beat all the other boats. The Sea to Sky race team is all about improving our own performance both individually and as a team, and doing our best to make every race a positive experience.
