West Vancouver Yacht Club hosts this second race of the season that gives us points in the Vancouver Area Racing Championship distance series (the first is Southern Straits).  Last year our team raced to a 4th place finish, less than 20 seconds off the podium!  The course is an out and out sprint from West Vancouver to Halibut Bank, just off Robert's Creek on the Sunshine Coast.  It's the perfect opportunity to stretch our legs on the roughly 30 mile course while still making it back to shore for dinner.

Contact us for any questions on the race.

What to Bring & What to Expect?

Please check the required items listed for day sailing on our FAQ page here.

While we aim to sail our very best on the race course, we offer a fun and supportive learning environment.  No enraged skipper shouting at the crew.  No grim silence as the crew plots a mutiny.  No fits of depression if we don't beat all the other boats.  The Sea to Sky race team is all about improving our own performance both individually and as a team, and doing our best to make every race a positive experience.
